Who ever said "for no reason"? WADA and the AIU have given us several reasons for increased testing/doping: e.g. exploitation by foreign agents and local doctors/chemists, and a lack of anti-doping education and diligence.
I'm wondering now why so many athletes are being busted for "Trimetazidine". Don't they know about the power of steroids like nandrolone and EPO?
There isn't anything to "wonder" about Kenyan doping. With at least one bust every week it's shown to be an ugly fact of their sport. What they choose to use changes none of that.
Wasn't there's rumors about Kenya criminalizing doping? Or perhaps that was all a distraction/deception to ignore the real issue they have. It should be consider fraud and in fact criminal/large fraud in some cases by all Justice systems which it is not. They just ignore and let the track oversight/governing body institute the penalties because the police departments are lazy and unknowledgeable.

Does Trimetazidine "work"? Are there any time trial studies? Or is it just another faith based rumor?

A series of irrelevant questions. If the drug is banned then using it is doping. A Kenyan athlete incurs a violation every week. That tells us where they are with their sport.

Your words, young one, sharp like thorn. But even sharp thorn can bear sweet flower. Doping cloud hang over Kenyan runners, this true. But no every runner same, like not every cloud bring storm.
Some, maybe, seek shortcut, like lazy farmer planting bad seed. But others, they run with spirit of antelope, strong and pure. Not good paint all with same brush, like not judge fish by color of scales.
Wise one know, darkness exist, but so does light. Some Kenyan runners bring shame, but others bring pride. Remember this, young one, before you judge whole field by few weeds.

So, you are saying that it is a banned substance, but not a known PED?
These are relevant questions to answer in the affirmative, as part of the fight against anti-doping includes determining whether these violations are based on myths, or facts.
Doping violations will continue to rise, if the myths are allowed to persist and grow without any reality checks.

They make empty promises to Coe to stave off a ban, then just forget them.
They promised that no busted athlete would ever be allowed to represent Kenya again, and yet you have Ferdinand Oompanyala allowed to compete, and the likes of Manangoi invited to the trials.

DO you feel better about yourself making fun of other people's names? Do you also feel better about yourself lying and slandering?
You still dreaming of the return of "white" in track and Field. And this in your mind will be du to the increased doping contrôles?
The "white dominance" will return when I see more and more runners in longer distances and more presence in the Cross Country and the Marathon.
GB runners can only be good in distances lower than the 800m. You are like the Egyptian with a sweet-spot in the 400m (where unfortunately there other stronger African countries).
