conservatives prefer a tyrannical control over the ignorantly loyal, and like to eat their own poop.

liberals prefer autonomy and an independant strong will. they are also very tidy in the bathroom.

I live in Boulder and dogs outnumber cats like 20 to 1.

probably more to do with rural urban divide and that cats are better suited for small apartments in cities

After narcissism the single most important quality the modern liberal has is the complete lack of independent thought.

That said I love dogs but I don't want to own one because organizing my life around when an animal needs to go to the bathroom seems silly to me.

Not sure if liberals prefer cats over dogs, but what I do know is that dogs are more like liberals than cats. Dogs are whiney, loud, needy, emotional, and cannot do anything for themselves. You have to give your dog food or it will starve. If my cat gets hungry, he can just go kill something on his own. You can let a cat outside and he will be able to make it on his own the rest of his life. If you let a dog out, he will most likely get hit by a car or killed by another animal, or he will team up with other loser dogs, take over the town square and demand everyone gives them free stuff. Cats are way more resilient; I can toss my cat off my roof and he would be fine. Dogs are often fat and lazy as well, while most cats can jump six times their height even when they are old.

The dogs liberals like are basically cats too

Cats are for weird people and single females that need some sort of substitute for a child but are too lazy to get a dog like a decent human being.

How does this goofball joke thread stay up and a discussion of white privilege in American society gets deleted? It’s like we’re being told this is a place for jesters and fools only.

I get that people love pets but that is one of the reasons why I don't have one. Our family had dogs for years and it was constant work and schedule snafus. I didn't have a great social life growing up because I had to take care of the dogs constantly.

I'll get it deleted real quick.
