I’ve read a lot of hype around him on here but he didn’t factor in the slightest. Still working his way back into fitness after injury?

Yeah, he didn’t have his classic kick in this one. Fell back a lot in the final 100.
Only 3 seconds of his PB in a season opener. Really not bad at all.
Didn't he run faster indoors a couple months ago?
Got beat by Marius Probst @ German Nationals. Not looking as good as he did last year (yet).
He ran 3:34.51 in his second indoor race after a 1:47.0 season opener. It hasn't been great since as he was a distant 3rd in his second indoor race, and then lost the German Champs. Right now, he has quite a bit of work to do to make the Olympics, whether it be hitting the time or getting points.

Sounds like a Farken Icehole to me?
I actually think this was a good attempt. He really tried to be at the front over the last two laps. Seems like he lacks a bit of sharpness (or maybe just a tiring flight to DoHa) as he really crashed the last 200m.
Butt it can be made smooth again with meds and pumice stone.
Olympic standard in Oslo. What a comeback. Wore the new super spikes by On.
Won in Stockholm. He will get a medal in Rome!?

It will be a great achievement to make it to the final with a 3:32. There are 15-16 runners that can run under 3:32 at the moment.

I mean definitely better than Doha, and progress was needed, but it wasn’t a Diamond League event at Stockholm. He beat the likes of Luke McCann and Federico Riva?
American men regularly now run sub 13 5k and sun 27 10k but marathons stuck at 2:07. What gives?
Nordas running 3:34 with one shoe is proof that supershoes don’t work
