I’m always so impressed at this guy’s ability to recover from efforts. Is anyone informed as to what things he does after his hard efforts to bounce back so quickly? I feel like I could really use some insight on that aspect as I get older.

simple, he's never actually recovered.
According to strava, he's currently taking it easy.
My best guess is he goes hard when he feels like it, very hard when he feels like it, has a lot of off days because of the above, isn't quite all the way fit when races, goes as hard as he can, and has difficulty getting going again after races.
Infrared saunas have been mentioned. Probably really dialed in nutritionally. Recovery is almost too good to be true, so hopefully no gray area stuff. Seems on the level so probably clean.

In my experience, recovery from long races comes more quickly when training volume is higher.
