She was injured for most of the year last year, starting early in the xc season, but was working on getting back to full fitness through the summer. She was then let go at the very beginning of the current xc season.

Wow. Taylor must be convinced she isn't ever going to be healthy. She is objectively better than several others in her class still on the team.

Remember, new roster limits -- BYU is abiding by them, as they have exactly the max of 18 girls. So it isn't necessarily that she's "never" going to be healthy, it's for this season alone.
