Wondering the same. Did they go longer than 3k? Wish there were splits. 15:06 is decent considering she has been rehabbing her way back.
Was Hiltz pacing Henes in the 1500m too?
yes, Hiltz paced Henes in the 1500. not sure if they went longer than 3000.
Thanks. 4:12 is not a super result for Henes if she had a pacer, so maybe this was just to see where she is at training wise. It is 7 seconds off her PR.
She will be in the 10k at Sound Running, presumably going for the standard again or to improve her ranking. Maybe they feel she has a better shot at that team than the 5k right now.

Henes is not a 1500 specialist, not sure why she flew all the way to Los Angeles to run it when she could have just stayed in Flagstaff and worked with Hiltz and Rachel Smith. Perhaps because she's coming back from injury she just wanted to get some race experience before the trials. also, she ran with Maggi Cogdon from NAU, who pushed her hard until the final 200. if anything it was a good workout for both of them.

Yeah it looks like both Hiltz and Henes are scheduled for Sound Running track fest next weekend which is also in LA, so guessing they just flew out early.
