For a high school kid nothing tops the Penn Relays. The atmosphere is different than any track event with tens of thousands of people in the stands cheering like crazy. You really can’t get that at any other meet in the US.
First off it’s “Moran!” around here. Secondly, I wouldn’t know this meet was in Hayward because running in SF is so miserable I would never have looked at the meet website to see that they changed locations. I say this as an SF runner. The entire Bay Area is unrunnable this time of year.
No, it's moron, only sheep say and do things just to follow the herd and you are both a sheep and a moron. Offering your opinion without having actual knowledge of something is why you are a moron. You clearly don't live in the SF Bay area because the Bay Area consists of 9 counties, all of which are unique and different. To state that "the entire Bay Area is "unrunnable" this time of year shows a complete lack of understanding of what the Bay Area actually is. 🤡

What are you objecting to? Is it not windy from now until September? have you ever struggled to run even splits at Kezar? Have you ever run a ou-and back tempo on the Bay Trail in MTV? I’ve run thousands of miles in San Francisco and the weather is not condusive to serious training. They don’t call summer in the Bay Area Fogtober for nothing.

I finally looked at the results of this meet. A 3:49 won the men’s 1500. That’s 12 seconds off of a Trials qualifier. Why are you defending this event so vehemently?
