What do you guys think of a blind handoff in the 4 x 400? we want to look cool and have a good key word to shout when we handoff. Can you suggest anything better than “Stick!”

Nothing will look less cool than screwing it up, not passing the baton and getting DQed because you were stupid. And that is exactly what will happen.
Ok… is it legal to stand before the exchange zone and start running so long as you get the baton within the exchange zone?
you couldn't be a real 4x4 person, first, you're usually exhausted at all handoffs and not looking to pull anything cute. you just want to get it handed off and move on to the next person. you don't want to cost seconds slowing down and reaching about. second, the cuteness of the 4x1 is it happens so quick and enough teams make it work you have to take the risk. third, the general melee of the 3rd and 4th leg handoffs. there is a zone on 1 to 2 because you're in lanes. by 2 to 3 and after that, it's a mosh pit. fourth, to police the mosh pit they are usually shifting you around in a line at the start of the zone depending on expected order of showing up. fifth, i don't think any relay lets you line up before the zone.
No. You must begin inside the zone.

Blind hand off in the 4X4 is not a good idea.
Key word? "Jamin" Nobody is using that and it will honor one of LRC's most prolific posters
