I was thinking of going back to the filth, but then I came across this post. Thank you for the reminder.
Something that I have been doing lately is adjusting my goals. I used to try to not look at the filth, however trying to not do something created a vacuum and I always ended up going back to it. I am now focused on doing what I need to do to live an emotionally healthy life. For me, this includes things like counseling and a significant spiritual component. I still struggle, but making that shift has helped me a lot.

My opinion i’ve formed on the matter kind of has a few points, i’ve looked into a lot of the psychology and even physiology sides of this to formulate this opinion:
1- Masturbation is healthy and should not be in any way frowned upon.
2- Porn is not healthy. It gives people unrealistic standards of what sex should be and what sexual partners should look like. Chronic porn use is known to cause ED in real life sexual situations. Chronic porn use is also addictive but has the opposite effect on real life, it destroys your drive to seek real life action, and I firmly believe that if Freud were alive today he’d say this sets off a chain reaction that turns you into a loser. If much of our psychology is based on sex and where that puts you in society, then artificially filling that void instead of figuring it out messes up how you act in society. This sounds like hogwash but think of stereotypical incels. Chronically masturbating, incapable of talking to women and usually not well adjusted even in non romantic social situations too.
3- Porn is not moral. Most female porn stars are victims that made a dumb mistake at 18/19 years old and are trapped in the industry where they are treated awfully and exploited. If you are married or in a relationship you are absolutely being unfaithful to them by masturbating to some random person in the internet as well.
