What happened with men? Dozens of men racing sub-1:52 880s & sub-1:50 800 with 800m w.r., 1:46.6
Some small 1500m/1 mi. women have been capable of racing closer to their 800m p.b., 1 mile races compared to men. A dozen plus women with sub-1:52 800m p.b. before we see a woman sub-4 miler.
Would require a women who is in both world record 800m and world record 3k/5k shape. I'll wait until the women's 1500m record gets to 3:44 to really start thinking about it.
With super shoes and everything, is it biologically possible for a woman?
I'd say yes eventually but it's really hard to predict just exactly a timeframe of when or how. I'd say the Kipyegon of last year in a perfect race would have been capable of 4:04 high or so with a male pacer to follow until the very end, but those last few seconds are an eternity at that level.
Not sure if she plans to lower either the 1500 or mile records (or if she's capable of doing so), but it'd be nice if we could see an El G / Ngeny type race setup between her and Tsegay.

Of course, we just had it lowered by almost 5 seconds and we only have 7.64 more to go. On the 5K, we cut nearly 11 seconds just like that since 2020. Any reasonable curve fit on those kinds of numbers would suggest that a 4 minute mile is in the offing pretty soon, quite possibly this decade or the next and certainly within most of our lifetimes.

The NCAA permits transgender athletes. Caitlyn Jenner would hold every record had she been accepted when Bruce was 18. Or what if Nico Young switches sides? Of course he would break 4.

The laws of diminishing returns says "no". They are already highly-doped. It would be like arguing that male runners will beat 3:40 when 3:43 was on EPO. Nope.
