Bowerman TC is getting embarrassing for elites at this point. This is on Nike Marketing for allowing this Sh!t show to continue. Jerry is not a professional coach anymore with his hands tied at U of O and all the BTC coaches are double dipping in pay with U of O. And BTC. They are becoming a team that once was and no new elite wants to touch. They have a few months to save this disaster from getting worse. Their few women are getting beat by all American college women on the regular basis. The writing is on the wall.

I have been wondering how on earth Nike doesn’t have someone smart enough to figure this out and make a change fast.

I will say the 1500m results were pretty average but good one by Aussie To Palfrey who went to Oregon 3 years ago as a 3:40 high schooler to get 2nd. He has big potential

And how’s it going so far? They have coaches with other full time jobs. What a commitment BTC is giving their athletes

And let’s not forget the mass exodus of athletes who didn’t like their coach has U of O as his priority. It’s a disaster and it’s obvious. I was a fan of BTC when they cared about raising the bar. Now it’s a side project for a college coaching staff.

Nike knows all of that obviously, and more. This is by design, to shut down the burrito club more elegantly than NOP.
