Josette is also injured at the moment. With Alicia being out and question marks around Cranny, Andrews just needed to stay healthy and fit and she would likely have made the team. Now, I’m not so sure.

She is injured so forget about it now. Even healthy it would be doubtful that she would have made the team. Too many others who race well is critical strategic races. She doesn’t

men's mile --women's 1500 --
Klecker, Monson, Andrews all injured at the most critical time. Mr full of himself Ritz needs to reevaluate his coaching methods. something not right in that arrogant camp

Geordie pacing, but maybe that means he’ll be in Doha DL.
Rumor has it that she’s out for awhile. And being ready to race ready in June is improbable. She has a history of injuries. This one may be the final straw for her career at this point in terms of any Olympic chance,..which there really wasn’t to begin with realistically
Last's year winner of the mile Beamish is being demoted to pacing duties to prevent him from beating the golden boys( Hoare and Naguse). Hoare just lost to a college runner in Australia. It is unlikely he could outrun Beamish at Penn. Beamish could also give Naguse a scare if he was allowed to run the race legitimately. It would be nice to see him bandit the race and forget to drop out as instructed by his manipulative coaching unit.

It’s Nuguse, buddy.
Tony Waldrop's 3:53 Relays mile record has held up for 50 years. Doubtful it can go another year with this field.

Yeah if Beamish gets through 1,000 in 2:23ish which should be easy for him…it’s history.
I first thought we were talking about Robby Andrews…it’s remarkable how few mid-d American athletes from the 2015-2019 era are still competing
running at penn relays on friday, is this race worth staying for on saturday?
The Penn Relays mile is rarely fast. Something about it just seems to invite slow times. Nuguse is good enough I expect he will run around 3:52, but I would be impressed if it is much faster than that.
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
