So it’s not crazy for him to run a 1:46.
This is much faster than I gave him credit for. Very impressive.
It certainly does a couple of things:
1) Will given confidence in the last 800m (why am I letting this guy get away from me?)
2) Will make others think. This is not the Nico of old which I could simply outkicked in the last 600m (no worries about him). They may feel that they will need to distance him before the last mile and thus do more work than they wanted,
