Seriously he’s just really tall, that’s it. He gets tired easily, can’t shoot threes and is questionable midrange. He won’t last in the NBA and never won a title in college.
I didn’t watch “The Game” but the stat line is one sided. Apparently Purdue can’t play as a team. Regardless, he’s not overrated. Anyone who follows basketball seems him as a defensive liability and is unpolished. He’s rated about where he should be.

Your comment is so small and unintelligent. Edey is a two time National Player of the year for a reason. His stats put him in the top tier in the history of college basketball. His team other than him pretty much sucks. He has to do everything, and he pretty much does everything. All the focus is on him in every way and he has consistently delivered.
Whether he will be good in the NBA or not has nothing to do with him being the real deal in college. If you are posting this for reactions, then good for you. If you are serious, it's pretty sad.

Yet some idiot will burn a 1 round draft pick on him. Perhaps if he can go work with Hhakeem olajuwon his skill set will rise.
His footwork was good tonight. That's not his issue. Everything else is his issue. He'll be a benchwarmer, not even a rotation player, a 3rd string center. Not a bad living.

If he was "the real deal in college," he wouldn't have lost.

That makes sense. After all, basketball isn't a team game.

Larry Bird lost. Akeem Olajuwon lost. They turned out pretty good in the pros.
Nobody should be bashing him. He is what he is. He was a project who turned into a dominant college player. Taco Fall and others never had the success Edey had. There's a reason Edey stayed for all these years and Clingan will go pro after 2. He dominated Clingan but Clingan will be the better NBA player.
This is supposed to be a running forum and you have no idea what weight has to do with the distrubition of oxygen? You expect a 7'4 300 pound guy to have mo farahs endurance?
