Just watching it the whole thing it seems silly. These guys were all wearing full gear, no one is even getting in a direct shot, they're just skating around from a standstill. This is the same juvenile stuff like pitchers throwing at batters and everyone running out of the dugouts like a bunch of tough guys. Overpaid people acting like children with an axe to grind or acting like they do. Join boxing or MMA if you want to fight or wrestling if you want to have a go at it for real with similar weight classes.
Nowhere near the old Avs v red wings that included Roy skating the length of the ice to fight the other goalie

Doesn't a normal fight get both players in the box for a 4 on 4? So this one should have been been a 0 on 0 for a couple minutes, with the goalies the only ones playing.

I don't understand what was enjoyable about the fighting there. The punches they're throwing are useless with the pads they're wearing. No one wins, and eventually they just tire out and the refs break them up.

It’s a way to draw eyeballs. Just like trash talk in WBB. Every sport is competing for TV exposure. Next time if they want to fight, they should drop their pants instead of their gloves.

Some unwritten rule crap because of what happened in a prior game. Does basically nothing but you will hear a constant stream of having each others back..
