Thought she had the Standard from the "Ten" you mentioned (same as Monson). Doubt that she would do both the 5000 and 10000 - although I guess she could and so needs the 5000 standard.

Says she's off to altitude for 6-8 weeks before her first race (it's about 6 weeks until Highgate?). Back running about 50mpw with two track sessions. If everything goes perfect she'd be hoping to hit the standard by end of June.

She ran a 5km recently in a European city...and I think her time was around 15:19.
The Kenyans and Ethiopians are now about 30 secs faster over 5000, and 1 minute faster over 10,000. She's a good international but it seems no longer a threat at O.G. and W.C.
Maybe she should have gone for the half marathon at Rome?
I just don’t think she’s been able to do enough mileage for the half.
But I doubt she’s in contention to win this 10k. Hopefully she can get in a solid performance.
Such a shame she ran Berlin last year with that knee injury - it set her back so far. I remember thinking (when she pulled out of NY) - don’t do it. Rest your bloody knee!
