I guess 32nd at SECs and 215th at NCAAs has left him unhappy? Or is the coach unhappy with those results? Regardless, he's in the portal per the Stride Report.

24:16 for 8k as a freshman isn't bad. Kid has potential.
Shockingly, Tennessee's strategy of get 10+ kids per gender per class, use NIL to get around scholarship cap, and see who rises leaves the people not at the top unhappy
You know it's bad when you start reading the name "Jacob" as "Yak-ob"
surely back to the PNW
Yeah, errybody leaving Knoxville now
Sometimes freshmen just don't gel with the school, it's not always running related
Honestly not bad for a true freshmen. Everyone wants more of course but hard to judge when the kid was only on campus for a few months (he didn’t redshirt did he?)
Tennessee will probably have high turnover for a bit until the staff has been in place for a few more years. NIL is part of the game and kids need to really think about their college decisions.
Nothing is as strong as a real scholarship from the track team. You can lose academic aid, you can lose NIL, but that track scholarship is a little more solid. They can still take it away but harder

UP would be a good fit.
He has two former teammates in Josh Augustine and Gus Clevenger at Gonzaga, wouldn't be surprised to see him there tbh.

Nothing solid about athletic scholarship. If you keep grades up and you have an nil with real companies instead of the school, then the academic and nil would be more secure.
Gotta be a bit of culture shock.
24:16 8k and 30:06 10k are both very solid for a freshman. He doesn't have any indoor track times listed, so maybe he wasn't healthy. He did have a down NCAA champs but you have to like his future, especially if he has a good situation, probably in Oregon or Washington state.

Bro saw a college freshmen transfer and couldn’t handle it

You can tell who the Nenow is based on the running form.
Why doesn't Jacob get a track scholarship to the Juilliard School of Music.
Oh for Christ's sake - you know what I mean.

Yes
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
