Two words that screw up a runners career “team boss”
Definitely injured. Not in any team boss social media posts in over a month. Hasn’t posted much on Instagram herself. Hasn’t raced yet has said that part of the reason she wanted to leave Bowerman is to race more. Way to go, Joe. First Emma Bates, who was practically a lock to make the Olympic marathon team, and now Elise. Don’t even get me started on Dani Jones, an absolute phenom in college that should be having a much better pro career.
Picking Team Boss is a bad choice. They won’t have person make the Olympic team, unless Emma can somehow pull it off again. Joe is a bad person and it’s sad these women don’t understand what they are getting into

Well, his wife is not exactly a saint either so they are perfect for each other.
I don’t understand the Team Boss hate, sounds like someone has it out for them personally (lost to Cory a lot in high school perhaps ??).
HOWEVER - if Elise is indeed injured from Joe’s training, respectfully we need to keep Joe tf away, Elise is too good to risk her prime years like that.
