Been building back after an injury (6 weeks out) since late December. Around a month ago, I ran 15:53 for 5K, followed two weeks later by a disappointing 4:21 1500 indoors after a week of illness. Yesterday, I ran the following workout:
1200 (3:32), 4 x 400 (68-65-65-65), 4 x 300 (48-48-46-46). 3 minutes recovery after each block, with the 400s and 300s off 1min recovery.
I probably could have managed another 300 but was otherwise a pretty hard effort.
Am I right in thinking this workout indicates a pretty big jump in fitness over the last few weeks? What should I be aiming to run in the 1500/5K in April?
