Is it coaching? The Alabama duo are literally ALWAYS running together and seems to be at a predetermined pace. They finish every race with blazing fast final 200m. Lemngole should be Sub15:00/8:40’runner but looks like being held back. Is that what others are seeing?
Idk Olemomoi ran a PR right? But Lemnegole was 14 seconds off hers. Maybe it was a strategy from the coach, or maybe Lemngole had an off meet.
I looked at the splits for Roe in the 5k and she really ran pretty much the same through 3k that she did in her solo 15:12 effort a month ago. I think what got her was the pace change from 3k - 4k. They dropped to 35s and she couldn't handle it on the day. I imagine that we will see some faster times from her outdoors.

Was a great run from Valby, glad I wasn't betting as most of my predicted lead group - Maatoug, Roe, Ramsden didn't finish.
Roe - man she really competed. She will learn a lot from that 5000 where she just hung on til she dropped, about 4200 at Valby speed.
Lemngole - all the hype was about that one 5k road race time. There's now enough NCAA data to see that she's very good, but not going to front run 14:40.
