It's early, but at 14 hours, Camille Herron and Devon Yanko are both ahead of Camille's 48-hour women's world best pace, and Leah Yingling is only slightly behind. I think Camille's goal is to break both the 48-hour women's and 6-day overall (men and women) records, and I think the 6-day record is also Devon's goal (don't know if she has interim goals).
Some of the women won't run nearly as much, but a significant goal of this project is to collect large amounts of performance-related data on women of a broad range of abilities and body types. Scoff if you must, but if you have any idea how paltry the data is on women and athletic performance, you should be aware that this project deserves praise for contributing, even in some small way, to addressing the gap.
