Well done.
Dude was like the 4th 1500m runner in the OAC and now he's a WORLD CHAMP.
14 people field I thought would be too much for him with his tactics but that race played perfectly into his speed.

GEEEEEEOOOORRRRGGGEEEEEE!!!
12.78 for his final 100.
Damn. Impressive as hell. Guy cost me more than a grand but that was incredible.
If Beamish can just maintain contact he’s going to scare El Bakkali and Girma this summer.
That’s a hell of a roundabout away of saying you were REALLY wrong.
No he’s not because he can’t hurdle at the pace they can
This goes against the conventional wisdom here that a kicker can no longer hang back and 'Wottle' a win at the championship level.
Um ? at world champs he was 1.5 seconds quicker than everybody else in the field from waterjump to the finish . As has been said many times he is an all round athlete that picks up drills and skills very quickly .

Georgie Boy!!!!
That was a stupidfast last 150 in a 3:36 race running in lane 3
Let's not over do it.
Beamish from 1100m to 1500m, final 400m, 54.xx; Beamish from 1300m to 1500m, final 200m, 26.xx.
We have this for decades from 3:36.xx 1500m men.
Anybody notice Nordas force Hocker into lane 3 on the last lap when there was nobody in 1 or 2.

What are the ethics of an outstanding journalist like you betting on the participants? I suppose there is no problem with it, but what if you could impact the outcome with your Mike Wallace like interrogation skills?

can't compare a 1500 close to a 3000 close. especially when that 3000 is run at 5000 pace.
As the defacto 1500m guy on the team historically, I imagine this performance will really light something inside Ollie Hoare. It cannot be easy to have to watch this from the sidelines when you intimately know where you stack up to your teammate day in and day out.
