#2 all time NCAA and #1 on an OT ( oversized track ). Aaron Las Heras running 7:37 was unexpected a bit in my opinion, but he did run 13:16 a few weeks back. Amazing run by him. I know he paced Nico for some of that big workout Nico did prior to running 12:57, so it’ll be exciting to see the progress he makes
More impressive were NAU guys not named Nico, Drew, or Colin going 7:37 and 7:39.
No. Quax is the son of a WORLD RECORD HOLDER. Las Heras ran 28:12 and 3:41 two years ago (on back to back days) while at Wake Forest - before even doing altitude training.
Zofia Dudek ran a decent race, too. Is that her best race since high school?
Zofia ran her 15:32 pr at the Bryan Clay meet last year along with a 15:40 indoor pr at the December 2022 BU Opener . . . but this was a terrific bounce-back race following a very poor NCAA XC champs . . .
JJ's doing a helluva job this winter with all his women, not just W&W . . . they're all setting prs and SRs every weekend (Jenks just set the 5k indoor SR, Bunnage just missed Patty Sue Plumer's 3k record set back in 1983) . . .
Next weekend at the BU DMR Challenge meet, JJ will finally unleash Stanford women's DMR featuring W&W . . . with Maya Valmon (51.+ pr) on the 400 . . . likely Jenks or Bunnage on the opening leg . . . that's a team that could threaten WA's 10:46 CR . . .

Bosley is injured.
I'm aware but his race today is significantly better than a 28:12/3:41. Obviously 13:16 was great but to followup it up with what he ran today is much impressive IMO.

And still won't beat Oregon (if they are running).
In addition to the 0.2s he was about ~250 miles off the record, considering the nearest record eligible facility to my knowledge is The Podium in Spokane, WA

7:37 is pretty similar to 13:16. I'd give it maybe a 13:11? Crazy that these times will soon be regularly outside the top 5-10 during indoors
The 3k is a race regularly run indoors, there are constant opportunities for an assault on that record if the greater running community wished to do so. 3k outdoors is more of a rarity. I think his 7:20 is mind bogglingly ludicrous, but lets be real, so is 7:24 if you think about it. Komen obliterated both records, but I'm pretty sure the indoor one was by quite a bit more.
