Credit to Gary for his hard work and to legendary coach Vin Lananna for being patient and careful with his development. Gary is clearly in great hands with one of the best coaches of all time.
Why didn’t Vin get him into BU ?
Love it! Awesome to see his continued improvement. He's less than 2 seconds from 'A' standard for Oly trials.
Maybe to get him familiar with the same facilities as the NCAAs.

Hope to see him join your boy Hobbs to represent the US on the world stage in the near future.

He got him into Virginia instead.
Great run by Gary! Should note that he was beaten by Ethan Strand from North Carolina (3:54.62).
Been keeping up with both these guys since high school. Both of them have very bright futures!

Crazy how since 2021 somebody can run 3:54 and it MIGHT get them into NCAAs. Wonder what happened.
