Was Woody coming off an illness or something? He looked like he was struggling to keep up with the pace early on. It might explain his 5k time at BU.
Nur looks so smooth running sub 60 pace like that. I hope he can make the jump into the top 8 in the finals like Luis has.

Woody was struggling a bit but he finished out the workout well. He is well back of his form last indoors, whether because of injury or illness, but that is fine, because he doesn't need to be great until June-July. Nur looked very smooth and easy running the equivalent of 4:06 miles and faster stuff. I think he is ready to go under 13 now. Where is Luis? I haven't heard or seen him in the various workout videos and races.
Woody looks a little fat. When he cuts that he’ll be ready to roll.
Mike Smith literally explained in the video that Woody is fatigued from his high volume of workout (double-T's) which is why he was struggling in this one, but that he'll come good at the right time
Obviously I'm not sure when this was filmed in relation to his underwhelming run at BU, but regardless MS literally explained in the video why he was struggling
Are Gordon Mack and Anders Holm the same person? Has anyone seen them at the same place at the same time?

Excellent video. I could watch Mike Smith coach all day long. Love these type of long highly specific intervals, changing the gears mid workout, and ending with a bit of threshold. On both Nico's video and this one, Mike Smith noted that they don't do stuff like this often. It's grueling, but hits on a lot of different systems and stimuli. Love it.
He does. Which is fine at this point. You can’t cut to race weight too often. I Dk why this topic isn’t discussed honestly.

was about to say the same thing. I like Diljeet as a coach but her yelling is really annoying. can't tell if it's real or if she's performing for the cameras. if its real i feel sorry for those athletes having to listen to it every day. it would drive me up a wall.

And I know Mike Smith is not a monk every workout. There are plenty of videos online where he’s pushing his guys. But yeah if I had a coach screaming “THIS IS FUN” non stop I think it would do my head in
