I have one of their older race day short sleeve tees. I got it on super sale for probably like 80% off. It's nice. It's not $150 nice regular price nice. Fit is very European, ie trim. If you have any fat, you better size up.
Someone said the shorts are meant for only super skinny runners. Anyone like maywld with large quads they won't fit very well.
If you want to take a chance, feel free but it's over-priced and not easy to return.
I have one shirt and it’s very nice. Got it at their store in London during some special they were running where you got a free beanie as well. Wouldn’t pay normal price for any of their pieces but it’s certainly quality.

I saw the size chart and it seems similar to Tracksmith sizing, which is basically a size up from most other brands. I have normal quads, but my concern would be the hip fit. I don't have fat hips, just a wider pelvis than say a Kenyan-type build. As in my hips are wider than my waist.
Where did you find a sale? I usually never pay full retail for anything, so when I say I'm intrigued, that doesn't mean I'm spending the $200 on a pair. I'm mostly interested in knowing what makes them worth that much, if they are worth that much.
Branding is about selling overpriced products you don’t really need unless you’re into impressing others and joining unsustainable consumerism. Amish runners don’t need brand names to do well.
I got it from an online shop called "matchesfashion" (yes I made sure it's a legit site...they are part of a bigger European based outfit).
I'm with you on the whole "is it worth it" thing? There's a lot of companies out there charging an absolutely ridiculous price for a pair of shorts...$110+ for a pair of shorts? Come on.

Heard of em from some podcast I heard that touted an affiliate discount code. Never made sense to try any of their stuff, though looking again they have far greater and varied offerings versus five or so years ago. Some looks really good, and they can't defray R&D or materials expense by marking up basketball shoes that sell themselves so the premium price isn't really unexpected. I mean, there's always a price to pay to be able to let the world know you're in the Sad Girl Track Club

My wife recently got The North Face Pacesetter Run shorts, $75 at REI, which have lots of pockets and fit well over her hips. I got Patagonia Strider Pros for all the pockets, $85 though certain colors are on sale on their site right now. Looks like women's is lower priced, yet comes in only one length option. At this point, if I were choosing shorts for marathon/trail training to carry key and fuel, I'd probably simply prioritize comfort and get one of those slip-on belts for storage.

Looking at the North Face ones you mentioned, they look long. I'm looking for more of a split-short. The problem with the Nike Aeroswift ones is lack of pockets and poor-fitting waistband.

What do you guys do with all this pocket estate? Fill them with rocks to weigh yourself down like crocodiles?
