Idk I feel like Tuohy is Letsruns golden child that is never to be spoken of in a negative nor pessimistic light and can do absolutely no wrong.

Absolutely not a Tuohy hater, fan actually, but there is an oddly large amount of posters that take the above sentiment wayyyy too far in a way that’s super weird and would make Katelynn herself really uncomfortable i’d guess.

She accepted a pro contract since she no longer has a shot at podium in the NCAA. Now she is fulfilling the bare minimum of the contract until either she trains harder and gets more fit, OR runs the contract out.

Adidas will eventually want to see some results. You don't sign someone to make Instagram posts. Being on the same team will result in comparison discussions when future contracts are considered by Adidas. Tuohy is going to be horribly outclassed unless something drastic changes.

I am also a Touhy fan although biased in Valby's favor since I'm a Florida Gator alum. I just sense Touhy got a serious deflating reality check last year when she ran against the better US women pros. I wish her all the best but each step up in class gets tougher.
