Here come all the Jordon Carpenter hate comments...
Any seed times?
Notable Male entries(probably missing people). They're gonna need two fast heats of the 5k for sure.
Mile: Sam Ellis, Craig Engels, Colin Sahlman, Issac Updike, CPT
3k: Yaseen Abdalla, Tom Elmer, Amon Kemboi, Kenneth Rooks, Jack Rowe, Colin Sahlman, both Young Brothers
5k: Sam Atkin, Morgan Beadlescomb, Geordie Beamish, Andrew Coscoran, Tom Elmer, Brian Fay, Willy Fink, Ben Flanagan, Ignacio Fontes, Mike Foppen, Mario Garcia Romo, Olin Hacker, Dylan Jacobs, Ahmed Jaziri, Woody Kincaid, Joe Klecker, Edwin Kurgat, Aaron Las Heras, Kieran Lumb, Dillon Maggard, Travis Mahoney, Morgan Mcdonald, George Mills, Abdihamid Nur, Yared Nuguse, Theo Quax, Jonas Raess, John Reniewicki, Ky Robinson, Cole Sprout, James West, Nico Young
Ima just do the 5k women on the womens side but notable entries:
Josette Andrews, Sam Bush, Carmela Baez, Senayet Getachew(world u20 cross champion last year), Lexy Halladay, Hasz sisters, Jenna Hutchins, Emily Lipari, Aynadis Mebratu(14:45 5k, 8:30 3k), Alicia Monson, Lauren Ryan, Hannah Steelman, Kate Wasserman, Courtney Wayment, Abbey Wheeler
That 5k is gonna be BaNaNaS. Clearly everyone recognizes this as one of the best opportunities to knock the 5k Olympic standard down. As much as I would love to see all the top dogs in one race, you would think they are gonna have to split them up into two heats. I hope they announce the pace and rabbits soon.
Happy to see Abdi racing indoors this year. No Bosley or Grijalva?
Women's 800:
Willis - Indoor champion, 4th outdoors
Whittaker - 2nd indoors
Rynda - 7th outdoors, 8th indoors
Mitchell - 9th outdoors
Women's 1500
Flockhart - 6th outdoors (1500)
Camp Bennett
Baloga
Kennedy
Whittaker
Seeing all three brothers listed under "Hoey Investments Racing Team" in one group cracks me up. Do they have any self-awareness? Is it all their dad?
I can't recall ever watching Carmela Cardama Báez race as a pro. Last time must've been her 10k NCAA win in Eugene years ago.
+ Bunnage, Frentheway, Larkin, Smee 15:30 ish runners....The collegians will be over matched in this one
I wonder if Nuguse is actually racing the 5k, or just rabbiting for teammates which has become quite common now days. I hope he's racing, would love to see what kind of time he can run if he really throwsdown!

Hurta-Klecker entered in the 3000m (pacer?). 2023 NCAA XC Champ Blanks racing the 1000m.
Blanks' 1000m PR is 2:23.16, set in Jan 2023.
He said in an interview a little while back he is racing
The 5000m really is ridicously packed. Half of Europe coming over trying to run the Olympic standard or close to it.

Kincaid and Klecker both ran this last year, but I could see this years group getting larger with challenging collegians (Ky Robinson and Nico Young) and more OAC / international talent using the race to chase the 13:05 Olympic Standard.
I love how rojo "corrected" the spelling of "entires" to "entries" but instead spelled it "enties"
