Means nothing of the kind. Agents are involved in NIL deals. Tuohy's NIL was arranged through Ray Flynn and Valby's through Tom Ratcliffe. She is still running for Huntington. Did you not see the Bowerman Watch List?

I wasn’t aware that the NIL deals were negotiated via agents. There was a time, probably in the pre-NIL days, that once an athlete signed with an agent, that made them ineligible to compete collegiately. I guess that is no longer the case.

Speaking of the Bowerman, I thought that the performances that were considered were those while competing at the collegiate level. Weren’t Wiley’s best performances not vs collegiate competition?

Regardless, I’m just hoping that Doyle gives her some good guidance and is able to pry her away from the influence of the Johnsons.

Graham Blanks mentioned having an agent and negotiating a NIL deal in his post NCAA XC win interview with LRC. He announced his NIL deal with New Balance about a month later. Blanks also stated he intends to keep his NCAA eligibility for at least the rest of this academic year.

Where are those Wiley haters who claimed that she coujldn't get an NIL deal while running for Huntington?

When she gets a big NIL deal, he will say that she can't get a pro contract. When she makes a team this year, he will say that she is doping. When she gets a big pro contract, he will say that anyone can do that if they dope.

Sponsors are fighting to give her the largest offer.

Don't feed the trolls with "$10 million deals." Nobody in T&F makes a fraction of that, not even Max Siegel. It sounds like you are another one of those fans of another runner who has struggled for a year now and are just trying to stir the pot. Wiley's fans are not these types of people.

I expect she will sign a big NIL with a shoe company around the time of the Trials. I hope she waits until after the Trials, though, as her deal will be even sweeter with "Olympian" attached to her name.

She is attractive, humble, about very talented. She will be very successful and rich.

To be accurate, Wiley is also faster than Valby. Hope Wiley’s NIL is much more lucrative than Valby’s.
