Exactly this. I can name 0 public indoor tracks. And of those, even you ask they say no. Some just sitting there unused.

Not enough American interest to watch these meets (compared to NFL, NBA, MLB game viewerships).

We are a capitalist country founded on thirst for power and money. The force will minimize public services and prevent any free events from happening, so somebody can or will profit from them.

Europe has other flaws.

It's in large part because there are only, what, like 2-3 bronze or silver indoor meets in the NACAC? So it's not just a broadcast distribution (free or otherwise) problem, there's also an elite/label meet production problem. That feels like a gap USATF should be helping to fill (or if not them, Sound Running, Tracklandia, Camel Elite, or Tracktown USA).

World Athletics usually streams the Gold meets for free on YouTube too. At least in Europe anyway.

Can you guys access that stream in the US?

I'm guessing Millrose and New Balance would be geoblocked in the US since some TV station probably covers it. But what about the other Gold meets like Liévin and Madrid? Can you access them?

Funding free access to sport is hard collaborative and risky work, and or not as profitable.

I'd settle for one subscription where all content is available. This sport is so hard to follow. A model that seems to be working - Ski and Snowboard Live started a year ago after NBC/Peacock stopped carrying FIS content. It has Alpine, Nordic, Freestyle Skiing, and Snowboard for subscription. Coverage is very good. I pay $8.99/month to follow Nordic. IBU Biathlon on the other hand is entirely free thru EuroVision Sports without VPN.

Sadly these sports may have more viewers than track and field! They're both focused on promoting their sport and building an audience by making it easy and providing an engaging experience. World Athletics, USATF, USTFCCCA (NCAA) can start by using online calendars with ICS export or subscribe option.

As US is not Europe. As track is not popular in US. As nobody would watch if done in US.

Here in Argentina it is a disaster. In order to enjoy all the events I must have contracted 3 different services. One of them offers the Continental World Tour, the other Diamond Leagues, World Cups and the Olympic Games and finally a new Service called Star + offers the Six Marathon Majors. But this is not the worst, most of the time and in all three services, the comments are really depressing, with journalists who do not know the competitors. At some point I paid for the Flotrack service but due to geographical location I could not see the races. For this reason, many times you have to resort to pirate pages or free VPNs.
