Why are less than 5 days away from a US Champs that's picking a team for Worlds and there has been zero coverage from any major running site, including this one?

sad thing is a number who qualify will pass on going to worlds saying they don't want it to interfere with their prep for the Olympic Trails and possibly the Olympics. Meanwhile those athletes that kick our butt at the Olympics will be racing World XC. Hmm maybe there is something to it
Am I dumb or is this just a master list of every athlete in the meet? Why do the coaches/agents/athletes stand for this nonsense? How do you prepare your athlete if you don't know who they are racing?
I heard Nike fired the USATF staff in 2022, has Beaverton high school interns make updates temporarily, and are now transitioning to an unknown AI Web services platform on the cloud.
women's interesting athletes: Keilati and Katie Izzo getting her WXC-ranking points for Olympic qualifying!, Abby Nichols (NAZ Elite) and Allie O, could she get to WXC?
Weather forecast right now looks to be about 32° with ~10mph winds. The course may be a little slow as snow is expected the day before.
It's really too bad the prize purse is so small. I think when the dust settles on this event, no one unusual will have made the world's team except maybe in the junior races.
As far as LRC having zero coverage, Everytime someone - including myself - posts cross country news , people rarely posts on those threads so why should LRC cover cross country? If all of us started posting on XC threads, LRC would cover it more. For example, how many posts did anyone create on the world xc champs in australia? It's not LRC, it's us (hard to hear but it's a fact).
True that! There’s a pro team out there whose “stars” raced 6 times in 2023. For some of them, they were actually slower in every race! Coaches flying by the seat of their pants. Throw training at a wall and see what sticks. “I’ll pay you to run for me, but I have no idea what I’m doing.” The bigger question is why do these athletes put up with the con?

How would training differ depending on who someone is competing against?
