I sit and meditate in a lotus position as I focus and squint and stare at an object far in the distance that at first I cannot see. But with the focus comes clarity. The object comes into view, and then I can see all sides of it, manipulating it not with my eyes or my brain but with my soul. I breathe in and know that my body is toned and one with nature, and I know that as I go out on my next run, the wind and the air molecules will part for me and allow gentle entrance as others struggle against the resistance. For me at that point there is serenity, there is joy, there is power. Booyah!
