My running club is just about to host it's annual New Year Handicap event, as it does every January.
I have a clean sweep in this year's club trophy championships and have worked hard to do so.
The competition works in that 30 minute 5k runners go off first, 29 minuters 1 minute later, all the way down to 15 minute runners 15 minutes later.
I Know this is marketed as a "fun" race, but running has never been about fun for me it's about competing and winning.
Am I being a bad sport? It will really annoy me to not be 10 for 10 wins, and I feel I am being unfairly treated.
