I know it's very bad for many areas (severe weather) but it's been nice in the Northeast. The winters have become more mild with much less snow. I used to have a plowing contract, but stopped that three years ago and haven't regretted it
Our autumns are extended and beautiful. I love to cross country ski and that hasn't been good. If we do get snowfall it seems that the snow ground cover melts rather quickly. We get a few more insects with the warmer weather that's a negative.
We don't have problems with hurricanes, droughts or flooding or fires (although we did get some smoke from Canada which sucked).
Global warming has given us some really great worry free weather.
It has been good for training in the winter months these past few years.
However, as someone who enjoys all four seasons, I do miss the snow sometimes. We also get these crazy rain events from time to time. I don't recall having unnamed rain storms causing so much damage, like the one we had this past July. There's been a few other like that in recent years.

True, its not perfect and I miss the snow too, but it's much better. I am speaking generally of the Northeast some areas have been hit with bad storms. But nothing like the south or western states.
It’s really basic to say, “wow, it’s not as cold and there’s less snow so that’s good.”
Alaska’s snow crab harvest season was just canceled for the second year in a row because the snow crab population has dropped 90% due to higher water temperatures. There are consequences to having 8 billion of us on this planet and all of us want nice stuff, too.
It's been a mixed bag for California which has seen all time record snowfalls, good that there's no longer a drought, but also some of it's coldest temperatures in history. Snow in LA? Who would've thought

The consequences aren't just on this planet. Ice caps on Mars are melting too. NASA needs to make more carbon neutral rovers

I acknowledged some drawbacks to global warming for the Northeast. But, municipalities are saving much on lower plowing costs. The average person has lower heating costs. This is important for those with lower income and for poorer kids who can't afford the type of better clothes for winter conditions.
Actually our growing season is now longer. And yes the weather in the spring and fall and winter is much more comfortable.
It may not be better for us in 20 years but now its good, just for us but not for the country.

100% agree.
The warmer it gets in the Northeast, the less fuel will be used to keep houses and businesses warm.
The less fuel used, the less carbon emissions.
The less carbon emissions, the less climate change.

That’s weird. Every few months you swap between global warming, global cooling and shams balls.

Humans have fished many species to extinction but just crabs are dying off because of warmer water eh?
No where in this article does it give a reason for the declining populations.
Common sense suggests the hundreds of boats catching all the crab they can find might have something to do with it.
"The abundance of mature females was up 46% since last year, the survey found – though that is an increase from levels of mature females that were the lowest since at least the mid-1990s. Abundance of mature males in the Bristol Bay red king crab population was 21% lower than last year, the survey showed, and those numbers are also lower than counts for most years stretching back to the 1970s."
In other words, we have no data before the 70s and the levels were lower for sure at least 30 years ago.
Arctic sea ice extent is right where it's always been on average since they started keeping records in 70s. And the 70s were so cold they were predicting an ice age.
If people cared about global warming they would quit lying about things to achieve their objectives.

And to be clear I'm not saying you're lying Jeff. I think your source is lying.
The only thing climate change is bad for is the things that can't adapt to change or move... Humans will survive climate change just fine (ok most will)... everything else in the world won't be so lucky and we'll be left eating beans and potatoes as plant and fungus and bacteria and animals life dies off.. but that is hundreds of years away.
One issue is the idea that evolution creates more species faster than climate changes happen is just not something we have observing and not likely to happen but the same scientists that are saying there is no intelligent design are the ones that say evolution will keep the best alive for the better of all creatures yet that the world will end because of change despite every other time then saying that's what created the planet as is..

I don't. The overall planet is warming that is the cause of climate change. There will be a variety of climate consequences and some areas might actually be cooler but the basic cause is global warming.
Officials stopped using Global Warming out of political correctness for the right. The right didn't like that term.
