Pac12 network was just disbanded, a lot of conference office people were recently let go with more to come after the new year and almost all of the remaining staff will be let go after the ncaa basketball tournament (and I’m sure many will take jobs in the mean time since they know this is the end)… will they have enough of a skeleton crew to put on the conference meet or will they even care enough to do it or will one of the schools just host an all comers meet like they do for indoors?

Yes, we know it’s on the calendar… just wondering if they will actually have a proper meet (seems like pac12 won’t have the personal to actually run it) and score it as a conference championship or just use it as a last chance meet to try and get some more qualifiers.
Fox will prob have a Champs for the teams on their stream.
Colorado staff will run the meet, that's what happens anyway.
Some of the production staff and on-air talent will get picked up by ESPN/BIG 10 Network since they bring expertise on the former PAC-12 schools joining that conference. The unions will help the camera, sound, and techs to find new jobs.
As a fan, I am concerned that the BIG 10 Network will not show Olympic sports at all. They can get more viewers showing re-runs of old football and basketball games in Spring (BIG 10 Classics - "The Game" Ohio State vs. Michigan 1987) instead of the BIG 10 Track Championships considering that the majority of their audience resides in the Midwest and East Coast. No dude at a sports bar in Columbus or Chicago wants to watch Oregon, USC, and Washington dominate a track meet.

Considering you can't even watch the Pac 12 network, anything at all is an improvement.

Fox Sports will re-brand it's college teams and pick some goofy name for it. It won't be PAC-12, Big-10. It's Fox Sports in Playa Vista now.

BTN already does that. Most sports are in BTN+ that requires a separate subscription
Next year will be a Oregon State - Washington State dual meet. Each team will have a 50% chance of winning the team title.
Except in men's Washington State is only school. They will host crimson & grey meet to decide Pac 1 men's title!
I dont see track/cross country & other minor sports having a league meet after all of this hoarding for $$$. Straight to regional and nationals.
Worse case scenario minor sports go to a club system and figure out how to survive with facilities, coaches, transportation etc... while fb and bb pay the players. Eventual evolution goes to 1 major league supported by fb revenue and all others getting thrown back 100 years if they choose to keep an athletic program.
America will have to develop club programs to remain competitive with European, Asian and African countries in the Olympics. Crazy politics, more corruption and alot less participation.

Pac12 network doesn't run the meet so it'll be fine. With the move out of the pac12 network schools will have to carry the production of Olympic sports on their own. Most schools already have a live stream setup and a control room that they use for games not on a network. Literally nothing will change with the death of the pac12 network and sports will actually be more available to the people who want to watch them.
