It depends upon the pacing. If they can get a pro to pace it through 3000m in 10:45, then she has a shot to break 15min. Currently the only pro in the race that can do that is Johnson.

******************** I sought other data to try and see how realistic Valby’s LAACTIC rating is. I looked at past Nuttycombe times by various athletes, and their corresponding BU indoor time that same year: ATHLETE……….Nutty……..BU Weini Kelati……19:49…….15:15 Taylor Werner…19:52……15:11 Katie Izzo………..19:59…..15:13 Ednah Kurgat…..19:39…..15:15 Weini Kelati………19:36…..15:15 Allie Ostrander….19:40…..15:16 Ednah Kurgat……20:22……15:38 Katelyn Tuohy……19:44…….15:16
She doesn't want pacers slowing her down. She runs on feel. 14:49.
I support the ‘run by feel’. 14:49 is 35:56 per lap, 71sec per 400m. Now that would be a long-strike.
71 per 400 is 8:53 for 3000 while her pr from early this year is 8:49.7. If I have a vote I'd say somewhere around 15:00-15:05. Speed is not her forte. Note where she was at 600 in Charlottesville.
