This is coming from someone who was an All-American distance guy in the big sky conference (small list, feel free to personally dm every single one to “catch me”). I got my butt kicked by guys from NAU at the conference level who were in fact foreign, but nobody hates on the white internationals. I’m glad I raced against internationals, they pushed me to achieve great things.

Their year in school doesn't make them faster. OSU beat an older NAU team. Their guys were all eligible. Change the rules if you don't like them. I am in favor of guys having unlimited eligibility if they are passing 12 credits. You are in favor of capping rhe age at 23? I don't complain. You do.

You are deliberately lying. The link above with Kipngetich's best ever result (from the Kenyan cross country championships) lists his birthdate at 1/7/2003. That means he was 20 years old at the NCAA championships.

Guadia literally just turned 21 on September 11th, you are LYING again about his age, he is not 22. That means he started as a 20 year old freshman. How is that any different than Mike Smith redshirting a freshman?

If Dave Smith can beat a bunch of 23 year olds with an 18 year old (Musau) and a 20 year old (Kipngetich) as his top 2 runners then in a few years Mike Smith has NO EXCUSE for not being able to beat OSU's 24 year old seniors with NAU's own 23 year old seniors.

Musau is not under 20 and Kipngetich is no less than 23 or 24.

You are just making things up. Musau this summer competed in the African U18 Championship. Per IAAF rules you cannot compete in the U18 championship if you turn 18 this year. That means Musau does not turn 18 until 2024. If he was born in America he'd still be in high school.

OSU literally had a 17 year old finish 8th overall and you are trying to say he's 21.

None of those guys are old enough to be freshmen at byu.

BYU freshmen are all 18. Some compete like Clinger did. Others do a mission trip 1st and they don't compete until they are 19 or 20. But your prejudice is uncalled for.
