The masters winner in Richmond today brags of qualifying for World Masters at the same time he claims ZAP athletes violated basic rules by accompanying him and aiding him on the course when they weren’t entered in the race. DQ or not?

According to the Instagram post it sounds like he's admitting to cheating. The picture also shows Colley running alongside him and carrying his water bottle? I'm pretty sure I saw at least one of the ZAP coaches there as well. They should all know better.
Todays keys to success.....
wear the latest super shoes
Find a net downhill course
Hope the wind is at your back
Cheat
Hope there's no testing
If that doesn't work then try training and talent

That's exactly how it goes. I don't know anyone who just trains hard and smart and wear supershoes. And everyone who wears supershoes is always looking for myriad ways to cheat. Unlike, of course, anyone in Cardinals history.
Nothing to see here, shows over. Nothing to worry about.

The only thing that looks like possible cheating is the bottle incident.
I think we would need clarification of exactly how it was done in violation of the rules.
I don't know the entire rulebook but it looks like muling (carrying his water/nutrition) and he had unauthorized pacing. You'd think someone aiming for a spot on a national team would know the rules and be careful to not violate them...
What's with Alejandro Guzman in 19th place having a 2:39 gun time and a 2:17 chip time? Never seen a discrepancy like that before.
Which brings up an entirely different problem. That would be faster than the overall winner. Chip times don't count for overall but they do count for masters runners. Weird.
Bump
Anybody know if this guy was eventually DQ'd??
No, he wasn't. Besides, he won the Masters by 12 minutes. Any "help" he received did not make a difference in the final results. He would easily have won regardless.

He wasn't because no one cares. He ran faster than you, get over it.
Richmond doesn't officially have a Masters division anyway, just age groups. He was the first 40+ finisher though by 12 minutes as noted above.
So it’s ok to cheat as long as you win by a large enough margin? Sounds good to me……Colley jumps in the race at the mid point to run with him, Van Ord is handing him bottles. He posts pictures of this and brags about it. Hermann got kicked out of the trials for less. Sounds pretty obvious to me. Maybe it’s just the Boone crowd defending him here?
