I would’ve rather gotten a new track that can be used rather than another useless statue

Not to defend Nike in the slightest and I am sure there are some at his level that aren't clean but Kipchoge has been dropping 12:50 5000m since 2003 so that's 20 years of testing now?

Maybe everyone would cover for him ala Armstrong, Bolt, etc. but not some of these lesser knowns that have just started to show up.

Lance was taken down by USADA well after his retirement. Before that, his positive tests were clvered up.

Either way, USADA can't catch Kipchoge - that would have to be WA/AIU under Nike's Coe or ADAK - fat chance.

And Salazar and Jones and Kiprop are two levels below Kipchoge (and Jones got caught as part of BALCO, not by a positive test, and Salazar by SafeSport, not under Nike's control).

Not a great legacy ther at Nike. They are a brand I own for doping, child molestation, and slave labor. They've taken more names of buildings than some companies out on in a century.

Beaverton HS down the road is open to the public, tough guy. Do you think you deserve “the right” to work out on what is essentially a private corporate track or trail?

fun fact, the track exists at the NIKE EMEA HQ for years... they just gave it a name.

The main stands were built in 1919 and Nike did make a huge gift to restore it in the 2000s.
