In the most recent coffee club episode the boys mention they know of another impending Bowerman exodus, and hint that the person is someone who is very familiar with Colorado. With who is left, this feels like it has to be Elise Cranny right? If so this would be another huge blow to the already crippled Bowerman team.

I said in another thread at the start of the week that a friend of mine from Nike Beaverton told me Fisher and Cranny (and Seccafien and Thompson) had left. I called BS and that those two were the last people who would leave as they're the only two (plus Ahmed) who have been remotely competitive. Then the Fisher news drops and I'm eating my words.
Coffee Club seems to confirm Cranny too. Seccafien and Thompson I can believe easier too. Still surprised Seccafien didn't leave when the Staffords did but guess it was more complicated for her with her partner being based in Australia.
With Schweizer having another surgery comeback, that leaves the women's team as just Frerichs and Aragon for the foreseeable future.
By the time Houlihan's ban is done she might be the last woman standing. Would be quite fitting if she ended up being the only woman coached by Schumacher.
The other interesting thing my friend said that you can disregard as LetsRun hearsay if you like, is that several of the athletes had told Nike Marketing they were leaving before they told Schumacher. That it was awkward as the whole team and many Nike staff knew and had to tip toe around it with Jerry. "The vibes aren't good" he said.

that would vibe with the idea from the pod above that Jerry didn't tell the athletes he was taking the Oregon job and moving the team to Eugene and they found out from other people. Seems the relationship has been broken since the move.

It looks like you’re a supporters club member. You should take advantage of the Friday 15 podcast that you get as being a supporters club member. They confirmed that Elise is leaving BTC on yesterday’s podcast (it’s much better than coffee club).
Reckon she moves to Team Boss? Vanessa Fraser has also just left Bowerman for this group.
No idea how this works, but I assume Jerry takes an incremental financial hit via lost coaching fees each time one of his athletes jumps ship? I hope that's the case since he should bear a cost for completely mismanaging the group.
Now she can eat all all the burritos she wants!

Maybe not the best move for her career, but she's a CO native. I think she figures at this point she'll never medal with everyone ahead of her, so might as well return home to a team with (seemingly) good vibes.

What other options does she really have? There aren't a lot of choices.
Tbf this is hardly a failure - the vast majority of people in the world have absolutely no chance of medalling in the event she competes in. In context, top 10/8 finishes are probably as impressive as they could possibly be.
Watched CC and a lot of the unrest at BTC (aside from the move to Eugene) appears to be not being at altitude.

Hannah Steelman wasn't born with that last name. She earned it.
like pretty much every runner who left (or is about to leave Bowerman) they want to train at altitude.
Cranny should give NAZ Elite a good look. running with Krissy Gear, Abby Nichols, and Katie Waserman as training partners would be a good fit.
Im not sure team boss is a great move. Good training partners but has Joe actually improved a single athlete? Coburn got her gold in the first season coached by him which realistically is usually a credit to the previous coach (wetmore) and has subsequently remained consistent until a slow decline consistent with age. Late grace had one good season her first year (see above). Emma bates seems like a natural at the marathon and was already running well, tho she could be to joes credit. Dom scott and dani jones seemed headed for big things in the NCAA and have sort of stagnated. Aaliyah miller had gone backwards. Emily infeld slightly worse than she had been the season before joining despite finally staying healthy. The biggest argument for joe is probably cory mcgees breakthrough since joining. If i were elise i would seriously consider mike smith
It always sounded like Elise wanted to run the 1500m. Cory could be a good training partner for her in that sense, except Cory's getting old and will probably will want to pop out babies after Paris.
People in the Grant thread are speculating that he'll be self-coached. Could be the same for Cranny. She could just hop into workouts with the numerous groups in Boulder when it makes sense.
