Camille would never cheat it’s just a very small field and event which does not attract decent runners, it pays no prize money either. These niche very long events suit Camille. It’s far better for her staying well away from trails.
Camille actually has proven that she can run that much.
For example:
3/24-26/23 Australia Sri Chinmoy 48 Hour Festival 2023 -Women’s 48 Hour World Record Holder 270.505 miles
10/26/19 IAU 24-Hour World Championship Albi France 1st place 167.8 miles
Spartathlon ain't no track or loop circus race. Spartathlon is totally different being a point to point course. Plenty of opportunities to cheat. Any reasonable person would raise their eyebrows at Camille lopping off 2 hours. She needs to prove she didn't cheat.

How exactly would she go about that? Instead, how about you prove she cheated?
He's just taking rubbish to troll. Spartathlon has checkpoints every 2-3 miles, no one can cut the course. Camille and Fotis put down epic performances this year. All of the people taking down this race wouldn't ever qualify for it, never mind make it to the 50 mile checkpoint before the cut off.
That's exactly right, they were in front of Camille until around the 100 mile mark, when she put down the hammer and passed not only them but also the mens race 3rd & 4th position. She finished 3rd overall - an absolutely brilliant performance.
Also, as someone on this thread already mentioned, there's no prize money. People run for the glory of following on the footsteps of Pheidippides in one of the toughest ultras (due to the brutal cut offs) there are. They only get a wreath at the end, in the airport of the original Olympics. It's not for everyone, but there are people who value the history of an event such as this.
Here's a fun fact about the winner, for the 3rd consecutive time, Fotis Zisimopoulos: he is not a professional runner, his day job is being a policeman. Can you imagine the unfortunate criminal who will try to outrun him? 🤣

It's not my job to prove she cheated or not cheated. Camille is claiming an enormous 2 hours off the course record, it is up to her to prove she didn't cheat at such a huge drop in time. This would be like if Assefa broke the women's marathon record way under 2 hours going by the percentage of time lopped off.
