Has she talked about what her plan is with the whole trail running thing? My theory is she is using it as a low stress way to get her aerobic base super topped off and then slowly return to the track as far out from last injury as possible. I mean she is not old. No way she has made the move to trail permanently? Has she mentioned any plan?
Allie should be forgiven for past mistakes. That said, she admits to doping and the positive test return. So, there should not be any more running-related attention given to Allie O.
She’s been doing trail races since HS (maybe even middle school). It’s not some new world for her. Why do you think she gravitated towards steeple? She’s sponsored by a primarily trail focused company and will likely go the Grayson Murphy route. Mostly trail races and maybe show up for steeple a trials year if she’s got the right fitness. Why do you think track is a better route? It’s not like the money is better…
Uhh, I think the question is about her clear trail focus right now. A focused track athlete doesn't run trail year round. Now, I for one think this is brilliant for her. Get tough as nails on the trail and then hit the track after the body has had a good 6-12 mo to heal on the trails. We always think injuries heal when they dont hurt anymore after 8 weeks, but they likely continue to heal and remodel for a year.
And as far as track vs trail? Give me a break, trail running is smaller than corn hole in this country. Track and road racing is small but a 1000x more popular and has the Olympics, Worlds etc....and is on TV every weekend.

And my point is, what makes you think she’s track focused? Because you like track more it means Allie should be track focused?
If you knew anything about the running world, you’d know Olympics, and being on Peacock every weekend does not equate to the athletes making more money. Allie has already figured out how to make a living off running and it’s not from running mid-pack times at the diamond league.

Hey, troll, give it up. You are not being truthful, and just heckling a woman who is a great runner and vlogger. I am a big Allie O fan.
Actually, while I detest cheaters, and I may be suspicious at times, I usually extend benefit of the doubt towards just about everyone when the cheating is not proven, which is more than ~99% of Letsrunners. However, when someone who clearly knows about doping and testing protocols fails a test for a banned substance and they also admit to it, then I am pretty sure they are guilty of the offense. That's not trolling or heckling, that's just being 100% truthful.
Continue being a fan of cheaters. I, on the other hand, will continue being against cheaters and for a clean sport.
her plans seem ambivalent. she ran track last year but her major results were run the 5k and not make worlds. she then began this year running road and now offroad. this was true before she got dinged. this does not feel to me like someone looking to run more steeplechase. it kind of reads like stepping up in distance to 5k, 10k, marathon, or turning into a road or train runner.
i don't know if i would read in she's skipping track. she got banned basically for track season. give or take a week or two. so she did something else. so maybe you'd shifted gears or maybe you were banned from your plans. it's not clear.
Still can't figure out who this is. Who is starting threads about someone quite a bit less well-known than Seth Demoor? The usual answer is:
When threads show up about someone no one has ever heard of.....then you've all heard of them solely due to these threads.....the subject was starting the threads themselves. That's the only reason anyone knows who JS is, and all of you do.
Youtubers who start threads about themselves and use Letsrun for their own self-promotion then complain about bullying or negative attention are just shameless snowflakes. This is the life they chose, embrace the fact public attention cuts both ways.
I watched her pikes peak ascent video where she was shocked that she felt bad doing 7k of vert starting at 7k elevation. With a whole 1 day of acclimation.. Has she never heard of altitude?
If she is going to take mountain trail running seriously she needs to move to the mountains. I’m confused as to why that’s not obvious to her.

She took an acne medication that is a masking agent and goes on Youtube to say that? I believe her and I usually don't believe people who test positive for banned substance. Yes you are heckling by calling her an admitted doper and cheat.
