Well, you might if a bunch of women got all excited about his presence and were talking about him. To the original question, that's the answer, is that women generally tend to like prince and princess type stuff, and we Americans don't have our own so the ladies go gaga over the next closest thing. God knows what the appeal is. My wife was obsessed with Princess Diana back in the day and watched the various weddings of this generation of royal dingbats more recently. Maybe she wishes she'd married royalty instead of me. Hard to blame her for that, if so.

I think it's nice the UK still has something or someone to blame their problems on (somewhat) - where we pick the politiicans and have only ourselves to blame when they all suck.
