Tuohy spotted at Pre - Bowerman Recruiting Trip?

I was there and also saw her. Super odd after school started and during cross season. Assumed BTC recruiting trip.

Was at NC States home XC meet yesterday and noticed no Tuohy despite seeing pretty much the rest of their team walking around. Must of been pretty important to skip that (and class) and go to Pre

I agree. Only way she’d go adidas is if Mike Smith would take her. He def knows what he is doing. And she could train with Elly….

but I see training group/sponsor support/resources as more desirable with BTC/OAC type group (+Cranny/Karissa/Monson are probably the best training partners for the distance she’ll end up running).

BTC hasn’t signed a top distance girl in a while (C. Aragon prob just low contract) so I bet they are going to throw a sh*t ton of money at her tbh.

Let’s be honest. It’s the equivalent of skipping a HS regular season meet to visit colleges. I don’t see a problem with skipping a college XC race that doesn’t have any meaning or a class that is early in the semester.

The agent that did Valby's Nike NIL deal also reps a bunch of BTC runners, including Scheeizer abd Monson. Maybe BTC will reecruit both Tuohy and Valby? That would be interesting

Isn't one of the things for OAC that they don't like their own athletes competing with each other on a national level? And they already have Monson and Norris who runs some 5ks so i'm not sure they want a 3rd american athlete at the same distance. BTC or flagstaff group with Smith seem more likely to me than OAC

This is true but I could see Norris on the way out as the 5k teammate and Tuohy replacing her. Big Josette fan but she doesn’t have it.
