    I'm not a hater but I don't forsee Wightman setting any more pr's in his running career. Lovely guy but, he's been injured a long time.

    I think he should quit running until the record is sub 3:40 when he is something like 60+ and then come back to run 3:38.

    Yeah, they should do away with the World Championships and Olympics and just give the gold medals to the guy who dominates on the circuit with pacers and wavelights.

    I think it is a stupid post. Jake W's PB both in the mile and the 1500 does not indicate that he has the potential to break the WR. Neither does anything else so far in his career.

    There is nobody out there right now who can break the mile WR, and that includes Wightman.

    This is frankly really dumb and irresponsible to say. Wightman completely smoked the Jakob that everybody is expecting to break the WR. Wightman is also clearly supremely motivated - just look at this interview that came out a couple weeks ago.
