I’ve always wondered if there were as many pro runners as NBA or NFL players or if they made as much, would they be involved in these situations? Golfers, soccer players, hockey players and Tennis athletes (can) make gobs of $$$. What is it about the NBA and NFL? You’re rich. I guess hubris exploits the weak eventually.
I can only think of Tim Danielson and maybe a handful of obscure runners that have been involved in these ridiculous domestic disputes.
Bail is used to ensure a person shows up for court. First, what would be the odds that he would not? Second, he is making NBA money so really no bail that would be realistic that he could not meet. Third, there are often guidelines. Four, it is not like they keep the money. They have to give it back when he shows up.
Do not compare this man to Tim Danielson. Maybe Tim was mentally but at least the NBA player did not kill her. Just a beating which is bad enough. He should get prison time but I am not saying he will.

Dude took actions that absolutely could have been fatal, so I don't think it's unfair to compare him to Danielson. The outcome easily could have been the same.

You are failing to understand the difference between "X can be compared to Y," and "X is equivalent to Y."
No I am not. A boxing match can result in death and I suppose this means you can compare it to Tim Danielson shooting an woman. Educate yourself.

IF you are using the litmus test that xxxx behavior can result in death and so can that other xxxx behavior and therefore they are even remotely morally equivalent you are going to run into a plethora of ethical land mines which will render your argument meaningless.
KPJ has had off the court problems before. He’s not a good guy. He’s also a detriment to your basketball team 9 games out of 10. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was out of the league sooner than later
