How many of you come on here and give advice regarding Achilles injuries? Jogging Achilles slight wear and tear have zero to do with risk explosive movement athletes take, Achilles.

It appears that his career as an effective QB was finished before the injury. QB rating of 39 with 0% completion percentage BEFORE the injury.

I never cared for Aaron Rodgers but he was one of the top 5 Quarterbacks I ever saw play. A legend. Like give the man his dues.

The trainers can give what they call the "Thompson test" to determine if there's an Achilles injury. They must have done this test because the head coach said it doesn't look good mentioning an Achilles injury.

An MRI later today will confirm & determine the the extent of the injury.

Not only is this season ending but possibly career ending for Rodgers.

The last time the Jets were relevant and a real threat was 1999. They lost in the AFC championship to Denver in 1998, came in the next season as AFC favorites to make the Super Bowl. And in the first series of the first game, Vinny Testaverde tore his Achilles.
The Jets are cursed. This sucks for Rodgers and the Jets fans. If he tore his Achilles, his career is over.

You could tell by the blocking scheme that the play design was for the ball to come out quick, maybe two steps and throw. Rodgers, as he is wont to do, held the ball too long, his blocking broke down, and as a result of the hit he may be done for the season. As I long time Packers fan, I wish him the best.
