I was thinking about this the other day. Broccoli isn’t the only one- bananas (the peels), oranges same thing, apples (the core), grapes (the stems), strawberries (the top green thing), and more. Seems like blueberries are one of the only fruits that are totally consumed :/

Blueberries have stems and you'll just always have some in the package. You can buy cut fruit and "get all the value" though only it will be more expensive by far lol.

Broccoli stem is tasty. Slice it thin and stir fry it just like you would with any cruciferous stem

Broccoli slaw is made from the stems, so you can buy prepared bags of nothing but the part nobody eats.

I mean… you pay for banana peels. That’s gotta be half the weight, right? My grocery stores in Atlanta all have self checkout options. Break the stalk off and weigh it yourself if you want to. Or just buy a bag of crowns.
