The thread about the guy wondering if he should go pro or not got me thinking. Are there any former D1 runners that found career success outside of running? Who has had the most? Someone I can think of is Mikel Jollett.

There are many, like so many it would be challenging to list them all.

You can't seriously can't think of any better example than that?
Like the poster above said, way too many to list, not even worth it.
Didn’t one of the founders of Airbnb post on here? Did he run d1?
Correct, Chris Lukezic wasn't just a d1 star, he was a professional runner who gave it up for a job at airbnb, which was then a startup. 333 1500/ 147 800
This is the answer, the answer is not Gamestop stock Wizard multimillionaire Keith Gill because Gill ran D2.

So out of the hundreds of thousands of former D1 runners who didn't go pro, you are seriously wondering if "any" had career success? Obviously the answer is yes.
What did you expect? They all failed in their careers? Give me a break.

Let's see, a mid pack Oregon distance runner started a little running shoe distribution business together with his coach. That worked out pretty well.
There is that…possibly the man who made the most $$$$$. But I think some people are forgetting about a couple of guys who created a running website and….well…ummmm…oh forget it.

Lukezic wwasn't founder, he was a worker bee.
I know. I didn't think I implied he was a founder. He was an early employee at aribnb when it was still a startup, like a year after its founding and rose to high in the company.

Marty Liquori, Tony Tufariello, Paul Gompers, Angel Martinez, Craig Masback, Rudy Chapa, Jim Hill. I’m sure there are dozens more.
