I’m convinced, she is a legitimate medal talent. Now go sign a big contract and get the hell out of Huntington.

She doesn't need a big contract! She has her friends in Huntington!!
Hope she does a 1500 while she is in Europe. She is in sub-4 shape.

There is an 800 in Italy on Wednesday and both an 800 and 1500 in Croatia on Sunday. Definitely sub-4 shape. Not which (if any) she is doing.
Athing Mu should move to Huntington to train with the real GOAT Josh Neideick!!!
Great race from her, especially after being shuffled back to last in the early going and forced wide throughout most of the race. Very few steps from lane one.
Wiley tracked Werro throughout the second lap then passed her late to finish second to Goule. Another 5 meters and Wiley would have won.
There were personal bests all over the place, including from Werro who lowered her best more than a full second to 1:58:13.
The first 6 finishers were sub 1:59 and first 9 under 2 minutes, thanks to a rapid first lap

Bio
Josh Neideck joined the Forester coaching staff in the spring of 2023 as the Associate Head Coach for Distance Running. Neideck serves as the coach of the men’s and women’s cross country program as well as the long distance coach for the track program.
Neideck wasted little time impacting the program as evidenced by being named the 2023 Great Lakes Region Women's Indoor Track & Field Assistant Coach of the Year by the USTFCCCA. His athletes have already claimed 15 All-American honors which includes seven national titles.
Prior to coming to HU, Neideck served as the men’s and women’s cross country coach and an assistant track coach at Cornerstone University. During his three-year stint in Grand Rapids, he guided the women’s program to two consecutive Top 5 finishes at the NAIA National Championships. Under his tutelage, both programs set new team time records.
While at CU, his athletes racked up 36 All-American honors which included a national champion performance. He was a part of five WHAC championship teams and on five occasions was tabbed WHAC Coach of the Year.
In addition to having garnered praises within the conference, Neideck’s success as a coach also drew national attention. In 2021, Neideck was named the USTFCCCA Great Lakes Women’s Cross Country Coach of the Year and the previous spring he was deemed the USTFCCCA Great Lakes Women’s Assistant Track Coach of the Year.
No stranger to the Crossroads League, Neideck’s coaching career began at Indiana Wesleyan after a successful four-year running career. As an assistant under long-time head coach John Foss, Neideck helped guide the men’s cross country program to a runner-up finish at nationals. His time at IWU also saw the men’s cross country and track and field programs earn NAIA National Program of the Year accolades.
Neideck also had a brief stop as an assistant at Taylor where he was part of the coaching staff that led the men’s cross country program to an NAIA national runner-up finish.
Neideck had a prolific running career at Indiana Wesleyan. During his four-year tenure in red and white, he competed in 11 NAIA National Championships where he piled up eight NAIA All-American honors which included anchoring the Wildcat 4x800 relay team that brought home a national championship in 2018. Neideck topped off his stellar collegiate career by being named the IWU Male Athlete of the Year as a senior.
Neideck graduated with a BS in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan in 2019.
i hope she’s the real deal but HU is just so shady. if she signs a pro deal, gets away from lauren and HU, and continues her exponential trajectory up, then i will be her loudest supporter. before that happens though, we have some important questions to ask…
It is a World Athletics silver event.
And yet, no pro contract. Hmmm. Its almost as if shoe companies see some red flag.
